Brief: Design, construct and install windows and and a double door for a gallery / bar in Camberwell on the ground floor of Pelican House a large refurbished apartment block.

A set of giant steel sash windows and double doors enables the space to open out onto the generous tree shaded pavement. The proportions of the frames derive from the windows in the existing 1930's facade. The elements of a traditional timber sash windows are scaled up with the 70kg lead counterweights, sprockets and motorbike chain mechanism left exposed.
